Starving Jewelry Artists - Mother’s Day Giveaway Event!

Today I thought I'd tell you about something else that's going on in my life - and this time it is something to do with jewelry! Here in England we celebrated Mother's Day on 3rd April - last Sunday - and I was delighted when the postman brought me a lovely card and some fudge from my son, who now lives in Scotland. Then I had another lovely surprise when the doorbell rang on Sunday morning, and I was presented with the most  gorgeous bouquet of beautiful yellow roses and deep purple and yellow irises - my favorite flowers, and also from my son! How lucky is that?!

Mothering Sunday always takes place halfway through Lent here in the UK, which means the date moves in relation to Easter. But in many other countries in the world - including USA, Canada and Australia - Mother's Day is always celebrated in the 2nd week of May

I'm a member of a very special group of jewellery artisans called the Starving Jewelry Artists Team (aka SATeam), and to celebrate Mother's Day the team is holding a fabulous handmade artisan jewelry giveaway!

Violet Sky Silver Necklace

There are 3 terrific prizes to be won:
First prize: US$100 gift certificate
Second prize: US$50 gift certificate
Third prize: US$25 gift certificate
That means THREE lucky people will win gift certificates that may be redeemed in any of the participating member’s online shops on Etsy and Artfire, and can be used towards the winner's choice of item(s). There are lots of ways to enter, and they are all free! You can also enter the giveaway more than once, although entries are limited to one per person per day

The deadline for entry is May 1, 2011 @ 11:59 pm Central Daylight Time, so what are you waiting for?! To find out more about how to enter, and to see the list of participating artisan jewelry shops, read this post on the Starving Jewelry Artists Team Blog, and start dreaming about which pieces could be yours if you are one of the lucky winners!
