Wordless Wednesday - Kuang Si Waterfall

With all the rain and flooding we've had over the last few days, the last thing my readers in the UK probably want to see is yet more rushing water! However, last week I posted about the rescued Asiatic bears in Laos, and mentioned that the centre was at the beautiful Tat Kuang Si Waterfall near Luang Prabang. Well, this week, here it is! If you look carefully you will be able to see two teenagers standing in the foreground of the first photo, which gives some idea of the awesome size of the falls - my photos don't do them justice!

You might also be able to spot someone in swimming in the image above. I'd just taken it when a huge butterfly fluttered down onto me, and it was very tricky trying to balance the camera and focus with one hand while keeping the other very still!
