Wordless Wednesday 2014 #07 - Floods

Some parts of the world are experiencing polar vortex weather, while other regions are suffering from heat and drought. Here in the UK we're getting rain. Lots of it. More than I can ever remember. There has been so much rainfall that the rivers have burst their banks and the land can't cope with any more. Yet still it keeps raining....

Large areas of the country are now under water, with transport, homes and livelihoods severely disrupted. And there's still no respite, as yet more rain is forecast. So this week, instead of bringing you images of sunshine from our trip to the Caribbean, I'm sharing a few press photos of the flood being experienced around the UK. Please spare a thought and a prayer for all those adversely affected :)
