Wordless Wednesday 2014 #34 - How to spend $32 Million

Well, $32,645,000 to be exact! This is Lot 37, a beautiful vivid blue diamond pendant, which sold at Sotheby's in New York last weekend for a cool $32,645,000. Yes. Over thirty-two millions US dollars. The pendant was from the collection of Mrs. Paul Mellon, and described by Sotheby's as a magnificent and rare pear-shaped fancy vivid blue diamond, weighing 9.75 carats and mounted in platinum. Wow, just wow :)
