Wordless Wednesday - Fun in the Snow
I've seen the big deer leap... |
Lucy is now 8 months old, and is a constant source of fun with her loving and playful nature. This weekend she enjoyed her first experiences of crisp, deep snow, and her wonderful sense of fun really comes across in these (otherwise rather monotone) photos. I was laughing so much at her antics that it was difficult to hold the camera still enough to take these shots!
... just like this.... |
... but they made it look easy! |
Is my bone down there somewhere? |
Oh boy.... |
.... this is fun! |
Quick rest ..... |
... then off again! |
Love that dog, Erika!!! We have been doing research--possibly, maybe thinking about, another dog! Lucy is quite energetic!!! xi
ReplyDeleteLove your pics Erika. So sad I will never see my present pooches play in the snow. I would love to see their reaction.
ReplyDeleteOh that's awesome, nothing like a dog in the snow
ReplyDeleteAwwww.

Wow Erika you have a lot of snow there! He looks like he's having such a good time - I love the photos with the paw prints in the fresh snow :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! So adorable!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW, TToria @ ttoria.blogspot.com
She's extremely energetic Cait - completely fearless, tireless, and on the go from dawn till dusk! We love her to bits and she is the happiest dog I've ever had, and so loveable. Good luck with the doggy-reseach - cockers made fantastic pets, but not sure I'd recommend this breed unless you can cope with such an incredible bundle of energy!
ReplyDeleteAwww bless her!! looks like she had so much fun :)
ReplyDeleteAw, they'd love it Mandy - watching Lucy was truly memorable, leaping around like a spring lamb! But then, Lucy probably isn't going to experience the sea - and I'm definitely not letting her anywhere near the swimming pool!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are my first cheesy grin of the day. These are so cute.
ReplyDeleteAWW!!! My little puppy loves the snow too...I just wish we had some here in NY!!
ReplyDeleteOh bless her- she is having such fun!
ReplyDeleteShe loves the snow! How adorable! Great photos. :)

ReplyDeleteThis is one happy dog! Love the joy just exploding out of her!! Beautiful shots! Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous of your snow!
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun watching a dog (or kids) play in the snow. Our German Shepherd used to love running around in the snow and eat it. My dogs don't have the pleasure of knowing snow... I wonder what they would do if they ever were put in contact with it!!! :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks like she's having a blast!! Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteshe's having SO much fun & I'm smiling :D
ReplyDeleteOk that makes me so jealous!!!!Gorgeous dog, love the photos!

ReplyDeleteThanks ever so much for your pin! Happy WW :)
ReplyDeleteHi Susi - I'll bet they would have as much fun as Lucy! She was so funny to watch - leaping around, trying to catch the snowflakes, burying her nose in it, digging, following deer and pheasant tracks in the garden - it was exhausting to watch!
ReplyDeleteThank you NJ!

ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by Samantha! Look forward to chatting again soon!
ReplyDeleteI thought Lucy was going to get lost at one point, but thankfully it stopped snowing! Do you ever get snow where you are in Tasmania?
ReplyDeleteNothing like trying to remove the lumps of balled snow that were stuck from between her toes, either, LOL!!!! Thanks for dropping by, Julie :)
ReplyDeleteOh, she was Lori! She was leaping around like a spring lamb!
ReplyDeleteThanks Verena! She really enjoyed herself!
ReplyDeleteThanks Angie! We had a LOT of snow, but fortunately it's just starting to thaw!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing was that the snow was clean - if she leaps around like that when it's been raining he gets covered in mud and I have to bath her after every walk!
ReplyDeleteShe was a picture, Chloe - couldn't stop myself laughing at her!
ReplyDeleteHappy to oblige!!! Thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteLast time I was in NY (about 6 years ago) it WAS snowing, and around -7C! What breed of puppy do you have?
ReplyDeleteThe snow kept her entertained for hours, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Veronica!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say you are welcome to some of it, but it has at last started to thaw! Thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteYup, she had a real blast! So much so that we've not had to take her for a walk this week, as she's exhausted herself playing in the snow :)
ReplyDeleteShe made us smile too, Phylly!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! ANd thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable but spoilted, Tammy! And selectively deaf - if she doesn't want to come when we call her, she ignores us completely!
ReplyDeleteHe he he! I used to love skiing, but that was before I developed a spare tyre, LOL!
ReplyDeleteWonderful to watch - that joy and innocence creates infectious laughter! It was impossible not to laugh at her! Thanks for dropping by, Sny!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Robin, glad you enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteShe is great fun - a little stick of dynamite! Following you back now!
ReplyDeleteSo pleased you liked them! Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Veronica! Nice to see you here :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, Judy - I wonder that too as was so funny trying to catch the snowflakes as they fell!!
ReplyDeleteHi May, Lucy has fun doing just about anything, and is on the go from dawn until dusk!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathryn! Lucy certainly enjoys life, she is a real bundle of fun!
ReplyDeleteShe had tremendous fun - it's a shame the snow is starting to thaw, as she played in it until her little paws got frozen, LOL!
ReplyDeleteHi Tatjana! Thanks for dropping by!
ReplyDeleteHi Amy, glad you like them!
ReplyDeleteShe had a real blast! Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed them! Lucy had so much fun I couldn't resist sharing them!
ReplyDeleteShe really enjoyed it Anna, not like me!

ReplyDeleteOh, I'd love to see a photo of your Lucy! We used to have a golden retriever called Tess - sadly she died 2 years ago - but she hated the snow, and the rain! Thanks for linking up, am following you too!
ReplyDeleteThanks ever so much - sadly I missed the giveaway, as my little granddaughter would have LOVED one of your beautiful owl hats. But I'll keep my eye on your website and perhaps get her one for her birthday later in the year!
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteShe had a great time Patrice - so much so she didn't want to come indoors!
ReplyDeleteThank you Tanya! Nice to see you here, and am Linky following you too!
ReplyDeleteOh Kelly, I just can't imagine life without a dog - it would probably be a lot cleaner & tidier, and not so much fun! I love your blog by the way!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Cheri - I am your Linky Follower too!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet you, thanks for dropping by! I'm Linky Following you too :)

ReplyDeleteHi there Will, and thanks for visiting! Lucy is an English Cocker Spaniel - although she has very long hair a little like an afghan! My husband had a cocker spaniel when he was a child, and it lived to the age of 17, so we're in for a few exhausting years! Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteThat is cute! I'm not a dog person, but I can see the joy he has romping in the snow, much like my two year old. :) Adorable!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I am following you on BlogLovin and Linky, and thanks so much for stopping by today!
ReplyDeleteMy previous comment isn't showing for some reason. I've never seen snow here in Launceston but we do get snow in the highlands & the surrounding mountains. When I lived on the West Coast it would often snow.
ReplyDeleteOh I just noticed my 1st comment was further down when I clicked the load more comments button. Silly me...
ReplyDeleteLOL, Tony - I find this commenting technology just as confusing too! I've been to Australia, but not yet reached Tasmania which I'm told has some beautiful parts. I'd love to see the Cradle Mountain area, and the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park! They're still on the list...
ReplyDeleteThank you ever so much, Heather! Look forward to chatting again soon!
ReplyDeleteMy wife & I spent part of our Honeymoon at Cradle Mountain. It is a truly beautiful part of Tasmania. My daughter & her husband went there on their honeymoon recently too.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking through your blog. A few posts ago I saw you doggy looking sad in the snow. Then here, he looks like the happiest dog ever. So cute.
ReplyDeleteHi Shanda! Yes, Lucy certainly is a very happy little dog!!!
