Customers of a Grade II listed 17th century pub in a nearby village had a very lucky escape last Wednesday lunchtime, when a car crashed straight through the front room and embedded itself 4ft up through an internal wall. Unfortunately the driver was seriously injured and had to be cut from the vehicle before being airlifted to hospital, but thankfully no-one else was hurt
